There is something about the phrase, Work More, that makes me smile. I jokingly said back in 2010 or so that I need to write a book titled Work More. It would be a self help book for anyone having almost any problem.
Each page would say Work More. And it would have lots of smiley faces in it. :-)
It's not true of course that just working more will solve all your problems. But I have found it to be helpful in my life. Although I have also found it helpful at times to work less. But only for short periods of time. "Work more" resonates with me much more than "work less".
I love to simplify things and processes. I love to automate repetitive tasks. But I have found that I need to work more in order to accomplish those things.
It has always been important for me to enjoy may career, my work. That may be one reason why my default mode is to work more. Work at making "work" more enjoyable. Work at adding more value in my "work".
It's work... but it's enjoyable. Then from time to time I try to remind myself not to go overboard with it. Like most anything else in life. :-)
